We have put together a collection of plants, native to New Zealand. Hardy throughout most of the UK, providing evergreen, all year round colour and foliage interest.
Astelia Red Shadow
Red Shadow is a tender, clump-forming, evergreen perennial with upright to arching, linear, maroon to bronze-green leaves and long-stalked panicles of white flowers in summer.
Dianella Cassa Blue
A tufted, evergreen perennial with stiffly upright, broad, lance-shaped, blue-green leaves producing panicles of pendant, star-shaped, blue flowers in summer followed by glossy, purple fruits.
Phormium Pink Stripe
An elegant variety with dark olive-green strappy leaves with distinctive pink stripes.
Coprosma Pacific Night
Evergreen shrub with glossy chocolate purple foliage. A great plant for the patio or even as a conservatory plant over the winter.
Corokia cotoneaster
An unusual evergreen shrub of densely branching habit with small, dark green leaves and producing star-shaped fragrant, yellow flowers in spring followed by oblong, yellow or red fruits.
Griselinia littoralis
A fast-growing, evergreen shrub ideal for screening relatively quickly, with bright green, glossy leaves and bearing small, insignificant green flowers in spring sometimes followed by purple fruits.
